Resolving Medical Claims Through Facts, Rather than Expert Opinions

Expert opinions contradict one another in every claim. That fog of conflicting opinions can be cleared by focusing on facts, instead of opinions.
Fact-based approaches highlighted in this presentation include:

  • The standard method for evaluating a causation claim
  • The standard method for evaluating a claim of vocational disability
  • The premise that injury causes chronic pain has failed scientific scrutiny.
  • The premise that mild traumatic brain injury causes persistent impairment has failed scientific scrutiny.
  • The premise that civilian adult life events cause “PTSD” or other mental illness has failed scientific scrutiny.

Attendees will learn how to move litigation away from opinions and toward reality.
